I am a first time visitor, can I have an overview to get started? >
|
Welcome to Fireia.com and, thank you for your interest.
At Fireia you can 1. Sign up for an account, free of cost 2. Upload images for retouching, restoration, colorization, reconstruction and creative tricks
Please click Services for an overview.
Fireia is easy to use and has simple navigation. Once you have completed the simple sign up form (takes less than a minute) and have signed in, you can upload images to your account. Sign up, sign in and upload options are available in the right hand top corner of all Fireia pages – we call this the Quick Access menu.
We support three upload forms: 1. Browser upload up to 3 images at a time - click Upload 2. Email images to be restored to Customer Support (does not need sign in) 3. For large volume of images (more than 2 - 3 MB) or, if you have problems with the browser based upload process, you can email us with your requirements and we will come back to you with a dedicated FTP folder for you to upload.
We recommend that you email or FTP images after you have signed up for an account (it is free) though it is not mandatory to have an account to send us the images. With an account it just helps us to track the images better and get started in good time.
Once you have the images in your account you can select specific images from the albums, include the order information by the image and add them to the shopping cart with a few clicks. You can preview the order from the cart and take the order through check out. If we require additional specifications (getting the skin tones, hair colors, background information and the nature of damage right) from you, we will get in touch with our requests.
Please click Quick start to get an overview of 1, 2, 3 easy steps to get started and, for an overview of the order process.
Industry standard payment gateway integration for online payments will be available soon. This is in the works.
Fireia has been built to be an easy to use self service for image processing requirements. Most of your questions will be answered in this FAQs section. If you find that one of your questions is not answered please contact Customer Support. Please pass on your requirements through the support request webform and we will get in touch with you, typically in couple of business days. Please note that we attend to each incoming email manually, with humane CS orientation.
Customer support for Fireia is mostly through email. We are looking to offer chat based customer support and phone support in the coming months. For bulk requirements we will be glad to set of a tele meeting and discuss requirements with you.>

|
What are your preferred scan settings for good quality restoration?>
|
Please ensure that the scan bed is clean and there is no dirt stuck to the print because of static. Scan at 300 dpi for screen viewing and let us have a .jpg or .jpeg image. For specific image processing requirements we will come back to you if a different scan setting will be of use. Read the scanner manual for instructions or follow these directions to clean the scanner before start scanning the subject it later saves time editing the picture. The best way to keep a flatbed scanner clean is to use specialized optical-surface cleaning fluid along with an anti-static cleaning cloth. A clean, soft, lint-free cloth along with a mild glass cleaner can be used as well. Avoid paper towels they will leave dust on the glass. Do not use any type of abrasive pad, cleanser, or alcohol-based product on the glass. Do NOT spray the glass cleaner directly on the glass; this could damage the components inside the flatbed scanner. Instead, spray a small amount on the cloth. Make sure the glass is absolutely dry when finished, this avoids streaks.>
